UAE Free Zone Company Setup: Expert Help to Choose the Right Zone

UAE free zone company setup gives you full foreign ownership, a fast process and attractive tax rules. The UAE has more than 40 free zones, and each one has its own costs, activities and visa rules. That is why the right choice matters. At TGS Innovised, we compare the zones for your business and then handle your licence, visas and bank account.
Benefits of a UAE free zone company setup
A free zone is an economic area with its own authority and its own business rules. For many international companies, it is the fastest way into the UAE.
100% foreign ownership
You keep full control of your company, without a local partner.
Attractive tax rules
Qualifying income can get a 0% corporate tax rate if the company meets the conditions.
Fast, often digital setup
Many zones issue your licence within a few days, and much of the process runs online.
Flexible office options
Start with a flexi-desk or a shared office, and then grow into your own space.
Easy import and export
Zones near ports and airports offer customs benefits for goods that stay in the zone.
Free movement of capital
Move capital and profits in and out of the UAE without currency restrictions.
However, a free zone company cannot sell directly to customers on the UAE mainland. For local trade, it needs a distributor or a mainland branch. If the UAE market is your main target, read about mainland companies instead.
How to choose the right free zone
No single free zone is the best for everyone. So before your UAE free zone company setup starts, we look at six points with you.
Location
Which emirate suits your clients, your team and your image?
Business activities
Not every zone allows every activity, and some zones focus on one sector.
Budget
Licence, office and visa costs differ a lot between zones.
Staff and visas
The number of visas you need affects the package and office size.
Timing
When must the company be ready to trade?
Import and export
For physical goods, access to ports, airports and warehouses matters.

Tax rules for free zone companies
A free zone does not mean no tax. Every free zone company must register for corporate tax with the Federal Tax Authority. A Qualifying Free Zone Person can pay 0% on qualifying income, but only if it meets strict conditions, such as real substance in the zone. Otherwise, the standard 9% rate applies on profits above AED 375,000. Also, VAT at 5% applies once your taxable supplies pass AED 375,000 a year. For this reason, we include tax planning in every UAE free zone company setup, and we handle your VAT and corporate tax registration.
